The 2008 lecture was given by Simon Green of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland. His talk was on Scottish Arts and Crafts Churches in Fortingall Kirk.

His talk was on Scottish arts & crafts houses, with examples ranging from Webb and Lutyens to Lorimer and Mackintosh.  He stressed the importance of James MacLaren on the Scottish scene.

Simon Green is an architectural historian at RCAHMS with over 30 years experience researching Scotland's buildings. Amongst other publications, he is the author of Dumfries House: An Architectural Story.
