Members: We hold the following information about members if you have provided it to us:

Name, address, phone number, email address.

We also maintain a record of subscriptions and any other payments you have made or that have been made to you.

We use this information only to organise and support the work of the James M MacLaren Society and we do not pass it on to any other organisation or person.

We will use your contact information only to inform you of James M MacLaren Society news and events and occasionally regarding related news and events in respect of Arts & Crafts or Fortingall and the area.

Each year, as part of the membership renewal process, you will be asked to tick the GDPR box to confirm your consent to us continuing to hold this information.

Enquirers: If you have provided personal information, for example, your email address, in an enquiry to the James M MacLaren Society, we shall retain that information until your enquiry is complete and for a year after that. If, after a year, you have chosen not to join the James M MacLaren Society, we shall delete that information.

You have the right to make a Subject Access Request (SAR) to receive a copy of the information that we hold about you. Please make your request to treasurer@jmmaclaren.org. We will acknowledge your request and supply the information held, normally within a month of the request.

You also have the right to ask that we delete your information from our records, We shall action that request promptly and fully (with the exception of records relating to payments you have made to us or any payments made to you, which we must keep for seven years for accounting purposes).
