The 2009 talk was by Professor John McKean of the University of Brighton entitled "The Curious Case of the Architect who Vanished in the Night-time, or Who Was C R Mackintosh?". This controversial talk will be published in a special issue of the Society Journal for the 150th anniversary of Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868 – 2018).
